My name is Vivienne Baldassare, and I am a NASA Einstein Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Astronomy at Yale University. I received my PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of Michigan in 2017.
I study the population and properties of actively accreting super-massive black holes at the centers of dwarf galaxies in order to learn more about the interplay between galaxies and their black holes. Outside of astronomy, I enjoy running, bouldering, and reading.
